Harold Ford

Coming up this weekend on Tennessee This Week, we interview Democrat Harold Ford, Jr. who is running for the U.S. Senate

Ford is running unopposed in August and has built a 4 million dollar plus war chest. A number of his staff were at last week's WATE Republican debate, so Ford should be very familiar with each of his potential opponents' positions on the issues.

Tennessee This Week airs on Sunday at noon. We'll also provide the interview on the web at WATE.com.

IT'S TIME FOR TN TO ENTER

IT'S TIME FOR TN TO ENTER THE MODERN ERA ...and say goodbye to backwards looking lying republican politics and politicians......

Can you please ask the

Can you please ask the Congressman (Harold Ford, Jr.) to speak about his personal life, i.e. how he feels about marriage?

Ford and global warming are

Ford and global warming are both a crock of bull!

Ford should not have made

Ford should not have made his commercial in front of a private businessman's gas station. That could just hurt that one business person trying to make an honest living. Most people that own gas stations that Ford spoke of are only trying to make an honest living. He is a selfish and deceitful man that will only get worse if elected into the political arena.

Republican bull means death

Republican bull means death for our soldiers and innocent civilians in Iraq. I guess John enjoys that fact.

Whether you agree with Ford

Whether you agree with Ford or not he doesn't miss a beat and I think he can blow any opponent away in a debate. I feel embarrased for Corker and Hilleary whenever I hear them. Bryant doesn't sound like as much of a stooge.I liked that Gene noticed how the women respond to Ford.

Thank goodness, John. I was

Thank goodness, John. I was a little worried. I hope you have some basis for rejecting global warming because it would be a terrible thing if it came to pass. I've been hearing so much that suggests it is a reality.Out of 925 recent articles in peer-review scientific journals about global warming, all the scientists that had done objective scientific studies said it is a reality. Every one of them.
What the scientists are saying is pretty convincing, John. I hope you're not basing your statement on a gut feeling, or that you're being reactionary. Because then I would suspect that you don't know what you're talking about and just want to believe what you want to believe. Because then I'd have to go with what the educated, objective, rational, critical-thinking scientists say. And then I'd have to stop indulging in over-the-top consumption of ozone-depleting energy. Reassure me, John. Tell me you really do know what you're talking about.

Ford cracks me up when he

Ford cracks me up when he says in his commercials that he's going to do this and going to do that if he gets elected... Does he not understand how Congress works...

When he was on Hal Hill's show the other morning someone pinned him down on why he'd missed so many votes and Ford Jr. basically said there was a lot of "fluff" being voted on right now like building names and dedicating weeks, etc. But then he went on to say that he really couldn't have an "affect" on any important legislation because he was "just one man".

Ford Jr. is sending mixed messages. He talks the talk, but will he walk the walk. He presents himself as a Democrat with conservative values... I wonder. Then he goes and contradicts himself with what he said on the radio. If he's so helpless to affect change becuase he's "just one man" we have to ask ourselves if he's worth sending to DC to represent Tennessee.

I think not.

well we know the 3

well we know the 3 Stooges..play the 3 blind mice music folks..shouldn't be representing TN, so they can continue those worthless Bush policies...
