Status Quo

Despite heavy spending by both parties, the status quo appears to be the winner tonight in the State House and State Senate races.

The one major change in the State Senate make up appears to be in the 27th district. Incumbent republican Don McLeary is losing to Democrat Lowe Finney.

Even with McLeary's loss, the Republicans will still hold control of the State Senate. The big question, will all Republican Senators vote for Senator Ron Ramsey?

We are very thankful to have a change for the better. Ford said we needed change and now we got it. A better Tennessee.

Look for Virginia to land in the Dem corner also.

America is ready for a new direction. With the house falling, and soon to be the senate, it shows this election is a referendum on a very unpopular administration. Throw in the Rumsfeld resignation and the bumbling Dubya press conference this afternoon and it looks like a clean sweep for America. It is a shame that Corker will be a rookie in the minority, he will be pimped by the GOP and stuck in the senate basement office.

Oops! State Senate....sorry

Oops! State Senate....sorry there. I still stand by my post though. :)
