$20,000 in Quarters
Submitted by Gene Patterson on December 1, 2006 - 10:32pm
Tune in tonight at 6 pm for a story about a former UT employee who admits to stealing $20,000 from the University over a 3 year period. And he did it, literally a quarter at a time.
How many quarters is that?

Hmmm! Channel 6 is like the National Enquirer of Knoxville - - your "news" cast is disgusting - - - it should be called "Channel 6 National Enquirer News" - no wonder y'all are at the bottom of the news ratings.

I agree with Fire on
I agree with Fire on this...I watched the news clip and no where on it does James Everett admit to stealing. He actually states that he did NOT steal anything! Channel 6 news needs to get the facts on this case. In the future, they should keep this in mind before they try to ruin an innocent man!!!
Merry Xmas, y'all! Nice to
Merry Xmas, y'all! Nice to see that the Coin Filcher's relatives are reading GP's blog at least.

I wish that WATE would
I wish that WATE would investigate this further because the university has not said anything since the story broke. I know this family and always thought that they lived very well considering he worked in the copy room at UT and the wife works as a receptionist in a dental office. The best part is he is a deacon and his father in law is the pastor at local Maryville churches. They just had a baby after 20 years of marriage and I know for a fact that fertility treatments do not come cheap. Please keep us updated on all the local "news". Not just what pleases some of your viewers.
80,000 quarters 4 quarters

20,000 X 4 = 80000
Too easy.
