It's Getting Bumpy for Lumpy

I wish I could take credit for the above headline, but I must admit I borrowed it from Knoxville attorney Greg Isaacs.

Knox County Commissioner Greg "Lumpy" Lambert is refusing to turn over his January 2007 phone records to attorneys representing Knoxville News Sentinel editor Jack McElroy.

McElroy accuses Lambert and the rest of Knox County Commission of violating the state's sunshine law when it appointed people to fill 12 term-limited county positions on January 31.

In the Request for Admissions, Lambert is asked if he'd "deliberated toward a decision on matters of policy or administration involving the governing and government of Knox County" by phone? Lambert responded, " If two commissioners who are less than a quorum can deliberate, then, admitted."

Hollow is asking Chancellor Fansler to enter a judgement against Lambert. If Fansler agrees, it could mean the case is over for County Commission.

Knox County Law Director John Owings says Hollow's request is attention grabbing, but has no merits. Fansler is expected to decide the matter Tuesday.

Why can't there be an ouster

Why can't there be an ouster suit for the actions of Lambert? If anyone has earned it he has.

Based on your conclusion,

Based on your conclusion, the case may be over for Lumpy, but not for all Commissioners. They could find that one or any number of Commissioner(s) violated and that others didn't.

I do hope that Lumpy will

I do hope that Lumpy will have to take the stand and testify to his actions on January 31 and the days leading up to it. There are more questions and responses that can be discovered during his testimony.

We should have a special

We should have a special Election to get rid of Lumpy and the rest of the commissioners who have re-appointed themselves. If we can"t vote for it we don't need it. Having secret meetings is against the law and people should go to Jail for breaking the Law. I for one am totally upset of the Goverment doing what they want to do instead of what the People want them to do. If you agree let your feelings be known and do something about it by writing you Represenatives.

Why is Herb Moncier a part

Why is Herb Moncier a part of this lawsuit? Isn't he the lawyer who along with Greg Issacs ripped off Knox County for $2,000,000+ for defending
the serial murderer "Zoo Man".

MR. LAMBERT HAS BEEN THE

MR. LAMBERT HAS BEEN THE ONLY COUNTY COMMISIONER WHO HAS TRIED TO HELP US.WE HAVE A GENTLEMAN LIVING IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD,THAT HAS 3 MOBILE HOMES ON HIS PROPERTY AND ALSO A DOUBLEWIDE,THESE PEOPLE THROW GARBAGE UNDER THE MOBILE HOME,AND THE 3 OTHER HOMES ARE NOT UNDERPINNED,HE HAS A STORAGE SHED THAT IS SO GROWN UP WITH WEEDS THAT YOU CAN NOT FIND THE SHED,THERE ARE SNAKES,AND RATS THE SIZE OF RACOONS,I WILL NOT LET MY GRANDCHILDREN PLAY IN MY BACK YARD,HIS FENCE WAS SO GROWN UP WITH WEEDS,THAT WE COULD NOT SEE HOW TO PULL ]
OUT OF OUR DRIVEWAY,MR.LAMBERT GOT THE FENCE CLEANED OUT FOR US,AND THAT IS MORE THAN MR. CAWOOD EVER DID,
HE HAS DONE A LOT FOR THE POWELL COMMUNITY,AND MR.CAWOOD IS ONLY INTERESTED IN KARNS.I THINK THEY WOULD BE DOING A GREAT IN JUSTICE IF THEY LET MR. LAMBERT GO AS OUR KNOX COUNTY COMMISIONER.

Car dealers when they get on

Car dealers when they get on the commission are in "Hog Heaven". They do what they do best , look at Pinkston They cover for eeach other and why not. We were stupid enough to elect a Used car salesman and they appoint a drug dealer. It looks like business as usual in Knox County.. Cas is smiling.
